Editorial Policy

Swift2FA publishes practical content for people working with TOTP codes, authenticator apps, QR-based setup, and account-recovery workflows. Our goal is to make each page useful enough that a reader can take action after reading it.

How we evaluate content quality

  • We prioritize people-first content that solves a real 2FA or recovery problem.
  • We prefer original explanation, tested workflows, and operational guidance over thin summaries.
  • We revise or remove pages that no longer offer enough value.

How pages are researched

Our editorial process reviews official product documentation, public support resources, and direct product behavior inside the Swift2FA tools. Where possible, we include practical observations from test workflows, compatibility checks, and common failure scenarios.

How pages are updated

Security guidance ages quickly. We review important pages when user behavior changes, recovery flows break, or a guide becomes too shallow to justify indexation. Pages that do not meet our quality threshold are rewritten, merged, or removed from search indexing.

Corrections policy

If you find an error, email support@swift2fa.com with the page URL and the issue. We review factual corrections and update the page when needed.
